Bangkok Thailand is just one of those places you must visit when you start travelling. It pushes you to get iut of your comfort zone and experience a culture so different from yours. I loved my stay, the floating market was a one of a kind experience, The grand palace was my favorite thing to do and everything is nice and cheap over there so your money definitely stretches.

Bangkok was big and busy and reminded me of New York City. We visited the Grand Palace and Wat Pho, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. I enjoyed learning about Buddhism and Thai culture from our great tour guide. We traveled south to Koh Samui for a few days and although it was raining and cloudy, it was still easy to find beauty in the island. Next was one night in Khao Sok. I was pleasantly surprised with what this natural reserve had to offer. There were beautiful mountains and rainforest everywhere and while on our canoeing trip, monkeys came up to us and said hi! I was a bit nervous, because they were very close and have been known to snatch cameras and other belongings away from tourists. It was definitely a highlight.

Bangkok was a great experience right from the food to the night life. I stayed at the Lebua state tower hotel on the 52nd floor the view was truly amazing but I wouldn’t recommend it for people afraid of heights. The hotel had its own rooftop bar with events so for some, there was no reason to leave the hotel in search of night life. The people in the hotel knew all the great spots for partying so we went from 1 party to another every night. The food in Bangkok was so tasty and dirt cheap. We spent time visiting some Temples but after a while got bored because everything kinda looked the same. Transportation within the city or Bangkok was dirt cheap but the second it has anything to do with going or coming from the airport, they decide to rip you off.

I have been to 11 different countries and this place is at the top of my list. From the Thai food (which I eat all time now) which was really good, to th beaches this place is beautiful. I stayed in Bangkok for 5 days and Phuket for two days. It’s very cheap out there.. I believe 1 US dollars is $43 out there. I told my boyfriend I want to go back again next year..We meet a cab driving who was great and we use him for all our rides. We even gave him a nice amount of money before we left.. We visit the Tiger world. We got up close with different size tigers. The large tiger even got on my back.. I did a elephant ride on the beach. It was beautiful and the weather was nice. Not to many people English out there but that was ok cause they were so nice to us. A lot of bugs. The taxi cars are pretty cool, but be carful cause you can fall off :-)
